Swimming Experience in the Royal Orchids Garden Hotel & Condominium - Batu, Indonesia

In this writing, I would like to share my swimming experience in Royal Orchids Garden Hotel & Condominium which is located in Batu, East Java Indonesia. I maybe have been there for swimming about 4 (four) times. The most recent visit was the best visit I ever felt if it is compared to some previous visits.

Let’s begin…

I choose to swim in the Royal Orchids Garden Hotel & Condominium as it is located in high surface area which is surrounded by mountains. I imagined that the atmosphere in Batu would be very good for me. The Batu area is known having a pretty cold and relaxing air temperature. From my boarding house, the Orchids Garden Hotel & Condominium approximately takes 30 minutes (from Mulyoagung, Malang). After arriving in the hotel, I directly went to the reception in the lobby and paid for the entrance fee of swimming. The receptionists were very friendly to serve the customer.

If I am not mistaken, the entrance fee for swimming in this hotel is Rp. 25.000,- (Twenty five thousand rupiah) duirng weekdays and Rp. 30.000,- (Thirty thousand rupiah) during weekend. It is not that expensive, right? Well, after the ticket has been paid, the ticket shall be submitted to the pool guard in order to process the welcome drink. Wow! By paying that cheap entrance fee, we can surely get the welcome drink (soft drink). Here is the soft drink ….

Soft Drink Facility for Swimmer

Talking about the swimming pool, the pool in the Royal Orchids Garden Hotel & Condominium is divided into three areas, namely: a small area for a very little child (I am not sure about the depth), medium (about 1 meter) and very deep pool (about 2 meters). The best thing that I could recall is the view of mountain range that could be enjoyed with bare eyes is very satisfying me. This pool also provides sun longer and table and chair set which is completed by umbrella set as a facilities. Near the pool, there are a small garden with several cages and birds.

In my first until third visit, most of sun longer were broken and could not be used properly. Luckily, on my last visit, those facilities have been changed to the newest one. Therefore, I can comfortably enjoy those facilities. Additionally, this pool also offers a restaurant and new café that serve various food and beverages beside the swimming pool.

During the swimming of my first until before the last, the air temperature was quite cold but it was still common because the weather was normal for me. However, in the last visit, the air temperature was out of my prediction, the sky was cloudy and the water was too cold for me hehe. Therefore, I was only swimming in a short time. After swimming, I went to the bathroom for taking a bath. The shower room was quite scary as it was so quiet and a bit dark 😂😂😂 the bathroom was divided into two areas, the first area is a toilet and three shower room, while another area is for changing clothes. The shower room of Royal Orchids Garden Hotel & Condominium swimming pool provides hot and cold water in the shower. Surely, the hot water was truly helping me to overcome my chilled.  After finish bathing, I prepare for my return to my boarding house.
