            Good morning ladies and gentlemen.

Have all of you been here?  Anybody left? I think all of you have been here J it’s ..... person.  Right?

Well ladies and gentlemen welcome to Indonesia and welcome to my lovely City Cirebon.

Everybody, I would like to introduce our team. This is Mr .... as our driver, this is Mr...... as our co driver and my name is Desi Rohayati as your guide.

Well everybody, lets make your seat comfortable. And i just remind you if you have some problem or some question when I’m speaking or during city tour . Let’s me know and don’t be hesitate.

Ok everybody, now we are leaving from Santika hotel. Our program is to visit and see some tourist attraction in Cirebon. Firstly, we visit Kasepuhan palace,  after that Sunyaragi cave, lunch at local restaurant in Cirebon and the last is Trusmi village. And out city tour program will be ended about at 15.00. Now, we will go to Kasepuhan palace. Kasepuhan palace located in Lemahwungkuk, Cirebon city.  It’s about 45 minutes from Santika Hotel..

By the way, Have you ever visited Cirebon before? Or visit Indonesia before? Oh, don't worry because now i will give you some information about Indonesia and especially about Cirebon.

Well, Indonesia often called as archipelago but Indonesia has many big islands there are, Sumatra Island, Kalimantan Island, Sulawesi Island, Papua Island and Java Island. Now we are in Java Island precisely in west java especially in Cirebon. Cirebon is located between West Java and Central Java so, Cirebon has many unique cultures.

Cirebon is one of regency in west java province. And majority people of West java is Sundanese people. West Java province located between Banten province, DKI Jakarta province and Central java Province. And the capital city of West Java province is Bandung City. Do you know Bandung City? Yes Bandung City is Popular as Paris Van Java. And in West Java Province there are around 26 regency. One of them is Cirebon Regency or Cirebon City.

Cirebon is located between some cities in West Java Province and some cities in Central Java province. So that way Cirebon has unique and different from the other cities in west java or in Central Java. And Cirebon region is bordered by Kuningan Regency, Majalengka Regency, Indramayu Regency and Brebes Regency in Central Java Province.

Everybody, because Cirebon is Located in Indonesia and all of Indonesian area is tropical  so that Indonesia has two season. There are Rainy season and dry season. Rainy season usually from September until March and dry season usually from April until August. But as we know, our world gets a global warming so the season, the climate and season in the world and in Indonesia can’t be predicted by well. And now in Indonesia is rainy season, we usually use umbrella or jacket or mantle if want to go out from Hotel. And also Cirebon also located near a beach so that why temperature in Cirebon is so hot. Do you feel hot? Or cool?

Well everybody. Because the position of Cirebon is near a beach so Cirebon city called Ci-Rebon, Thats come from two words there are “ci” which means Cai or in English Water and “Rebon” is a kind of shrimp where Cirebon is the city which produce many shrimp. So that, Cirebon is called “Kota Udang“ or the City of the Shrimp. And in Cirebon the shrimp is made for Terasi and petis. Petis is typical food from Cirebon, Trasi is usually used for seasoning. And one of food which made from terasi is sambel terasi. And petis like cream but petis has black color, spicy flavor and shrimp smell.

Everybody, formerly, Cirebon was an Islamic Kingdom. It lead by Sultan or king which we usually called “Susuhunan” or sunan. The first king who was ruled is Raden walangsungsang. Then, it continued by his cousins, namely is Syekh syarif Hidayatullah or Sunan gunung jati. Sunan Gunung Jati is one of Walisongo from West Java. Do you know Walisongo? Wali is means the first person who separated Islam in Java Island. And Songo is Javanese language. Its meaning nine. So, Walisongo is nine people who separated Islam in java island. As i asking, in past time Cirebon was lead by a king. But , now Cirebon wasn’t a kingdom. At which, Cirebon is ruled by mayor and region. Why Cirebon ruled by 2 leader? Because, Cirebon is divided into two, there are city and municipality.

Ladies and gentlemen, The population of Cirebon is around 3 million people. Most of them are Javanese.

Well everybody, Cirebon has an own language, it’s called Bebasan or Cirebon Language. Cirebon language is mixed between Javanese and Sudanese. For example is ”Priben Kabare??” Can you follow me that say Priben Kabare? Priben Kabare in English is how are you?

Well, Majority Cirebon people are Muslim so don’t be Astonished if you hear adzan at certain times, like in the morning, afternoon, evening and night. So do not be shock when you hear people talking in a high voice, it's because that's the nature of the Cirebon custom. The most important addition is the give and take is always with the right hand and is considered impolite if we receive and give with the left hand. Society is not only a custom in Cirebon but it also customs in Indonesian people.

And, as i told before Cirebon has many unique art such as Tari topeng or Topeng dance. Topeng dance is traditional dance from Cirebon. And its very unique, because the dancer use a topeng or mask. And the mask is has each character which tells us about journey of human life. The character are Panji mask that tells humans as a baby, Samba mask that tells human as a children, Rumyang mask that tells humans as a teenage, Tumenggung mask that tells humans as an adult and Klana that tells us about the king angry. This is example of Cirebon mask. And This is The example of Movement Klana Cirebon Mask Dance

Besides has traditional art, Cirebon also has traditional handicraft. Such as Key chains masks, batik, glass painting and the others.  For example is batik. The central batik in Cirebon is  in trusmi and the motive which very famous is Batik Mega Mendung. This is Example of Batik Mega Mendung.

Beside Cirebon has many culture, Cirebon also has many traditional food. Such as Nasi jamblang, Empal Gentong, Tahu Gejrot, Nasi Lengko, Docang. Some of food has a history behind the name. For example Nasi Jamblang. Named Nasi jamblang because this food from Jamblang village which located in Cirebon Regency. Nasi Jamblang has been there since long time ago, precisely when Holland Colonialism age. Nasi jamblang contains a protion of rice and many choice dishes, such as sambel goreng, perkedel, dendeng or meat, quail egg and the other. This is Example of Nasi Jamblang. Its so delicious, are you interested to trying Nasi Jamblang? Don't Worry, because today we will have lunch with traditional menu in Cirebon that is Nasi Jamblang..

Well everybody, not too long from here we will arrive at the first tourist attraction. Kasepuhan palace, we will visit Kasepuhan palace about one hour and thirty minutes. So you have to be here on bus at 09.30. Please get off our bus and don't forget take camera and the others need
