Hi friends,
In this post I will share an on-board text (explanation during on the way from Kasepuhan Palace to Sunyaragi Cave). This text is an assignment that I must memorize for my Tour Guiding course final examination.
Check it out…
Well ladies and gentleman.
Have all of you been on the bus?
(Asking about tour members feeling about a tourism object)
And, Excuse me mom, Whats your name? I want to ask you a question.

We are already visiting Kasepuhan palace and Sang Cipta Rasa Mosque, now we are going to Sunyaragi Cave. Well, I want to ask you a question… How was your trip in Sang Cipta Rasa mosque and Kasepuhan palace? Did you enjoy it?

Excuse me sir, whats your name? Ok. I need you to answer a question from me, what is the most interesting thing in Sang Cipta Rasa mosque according to your opinion? Azan pitu? Right . Give applause for Mr ....
What do you think about Kasepuhan palace? What the most Unique from That Palace? Singa Barong? Very well, Give applause for ms..…
I also like the unique things from those tourism objects.

Well Everybody, now I will give you Some information about historical background of Cirebon. Beside Kasepuhan Palace, Cirebon also has 2 other palaces, namely: Kanoman and Kacirebonan Palace.  At very first time, Cirebon only has one palace. Kanoman palace was the center of the civilization of the Sultanate of Cirebon, which was later split into Kanoman palace, Kasepuhan palace and Kacirebonan palace.

Well everyone, there are some interesting things from the Palace in Cirebon which were the original porcelain plates of China that stuck on the wall of all palaces in Cirebon. Besides, the most important thing is all palaces in Cirebon always faces the North, and in the front of the Palace there has always been the people's Assembly place & market and on the East side of the palace there has always been the mosque.
You can see on your Right side. That is Gate of Kanoman Palace. That is the way to go to that palace. Kanoman palace was built around 1678 M, That palace has no big deterrence with Kasepuhan palace. Kasepuhan palace has Singa Barong carriage, but, Kanoman Palace also has Museum, in that museum there are Paksi Naga Liman carriage. That carriage name is derived from 3 words. There are PAKSI which means BURUNG (BIRD), NAGA which NAGA or DRAGON and LIMAN which GAJAH (ELEPHENT) which the trunks is holding weapon. So, that carriage is Combination of 3Animals. I bring the picture of this carriage. Its very unique right?

Oke now please see on your left side, that is the tomb of Jabang Bayi (baby). I will explain the history of that tomb. There are many versions that tell the history of the tomb of Jabang Bayi, but I choose one of the several versions existed. It is called tomb of Jabang Bayi (baby) because the Kanoman King initially have a relationship with Miss Delamor (foreigner) which led Miss delamor bear children outside of marriage. It was causing a big embarrassment of the king’s family. Then, Miss Delamor covered up her pregnancy and after she gave birth. However, the baby was deformed at birth. then the child was dumped by using Kendaga in the Kriyan river .
When morning came, the fisherman found the baby inside Kandaga, and it wasconfirmed that the baby was died. So, the baby was buried in the area kesambi. As the grave situation brought a lot of exciting news and been the place for burying baby, finally people chang , it is used as a local area JABANG BAYI.

Okay, that's all little information about Jabang bayi grave. Thanks for your attention.
Well everybody, we will arrive in our next tourism object named Sunyaragi Cave. In there, you will see 12 coral reef caves. You guys will be explained about historical background of those caves and allowed to take picture.
